Marilyn Williams was born to Hezikah Williams and Cora Mae Rush on June 2, 1948, in Akron, Ohio.  Marilyn passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the age of 73 years old.  Leaving a void in her community of family and friends.

Marilyn grew up in Akron and attended Akron Public Schools.  She was employed and retired from Morris Controls.  She loved to travel.  She loved being with family and friends as well as having a great time.

She was associated with Portage Path Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses where she renewed her love for Jehovah.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Hezikah and Cora Mae Williams; sisters, Sharon Williams and Mary Allen; brother, Charles Rush and grandson, Keith Thompson Jr.

She is survived by her brother Gerald Williams.  Marilyn's memory will be cherished by her (3) children, Allison Thompson-Lewis (Mark), Allen Hopson Jr. (Yolanda), Humphrey Hopson III (Kendra); grandchildren, Jewel, Sebastion, Leon, Raediance (Michael), Allen III, Alana, Mykaliah, Shavon, and Carol; great grandchildren, Monica, Michael Jr., and Hazel, as well as a host of family, friends, and spiritual brothers, and sisters.
