Marie V. Mitchell-Price peacefully entered into eternal peace surrounded by her loving family on May 15, 2024. She was born on September 22, 1943 in Oberlin, Ohio and she graduated from South High School.

Marie worked for Western Reserve Hospital for 31 years until her retirement. She was on the committee of Alcoholic Anonymous, where she had 43 years of sobriety. She was a Volunteer for Summa Health System and was also on the Usher Board at her church. Marie graduated from Akron University with a bachelor's degree as a nurse specialist.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Artis Price; her parents, Willard E. Mitchell, Sr. and Mildred Marie Mitchell Williams; sisters, Jaqueline Murray and Joyce Mitchell-Melton; and grandson, Dion D. Thomas.

She is survived by her daughter, Belinda of Maple Heights, Ohio; grandsons, Ivory D. Thomas, ll and Dexter (Raven) Thomas of Akron, Ohio; great grandchildren, Da'Myah, Ja'Marie, Ivory lll, Da'Maryanna, Dion Jr., Dakota, Denver, DeShawn, and Dallan; sisters, Sylvia Willis of Akron and Phyllis Pittman of Commerce, Georgia; brother, Willard E. (Jackie) Mitchell of Miami, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She will truly be missed!
