Marian L. Laisure passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013.  She was 73 years old.  She was born in Preston, West Virginia on November 21, 1939 to the late Thelma Ream. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Laisure, and daughter, Deloris Hixon. Marian loved to sew, crochet and create plastic canvas'.  She adamantly indulged in her Pentecostal religion and enjoyed writing poems and prayers every day.  Marian would often visit nursing homes to sing and play her favorite gospel music to the patients and staff.  She often took her granddaughter along, who enjoyed listening to her grandmother and playing cards with the residents.  Marian really loved Jesus!  She strongly felt you could worship from home, just as well as you could in the churches. Marian is survived by her daughters, Sarah Anderson, Roberta Kent and Mary Ferguson; step-daughter, Barbara; grandchildren, Mackey, Paul, Rachel, Rebecca, Michael, Roberta, Heather, Randy, Michelle, Robert, Jeffery, Lisa, Erica, Cheyenne, Chase, Cole, Cierra, Colton, Cougar and JC.  She is also survived by great-grandchildren, William, Kayley, Kailie, Twilla, Toryann, Roger, Adrianna, Makayla, Chrystin, Chayse, Mason, Jayden, Macayla, Jozlyn, Kenneth, Skylar, D'amya, Brandi and Innocense; and a multitude of other family members.
