Margaret A Pratt-Gillis went home to be with The Lord on April 23, 2022, at the age of 84.  She was born in Eden North Carolina to Ada Foye and Thomas Roberts.  She moved to Akron Ohio in 1966, last employed by Uni-Wear for many years.  She remarried in 2016 to Bervin Gillis Jr.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church; she also was a past member of The Eastern Star.  She enjoyed cooking, singing in the choir, baking cakes and spending time with friends and family.

Preceded in death by Parents Ada Foye and Thomas Roberts, siblings James Roberts, Rufus Roberts, Grace Matthews, Eva Mobley, Gauny Roach and daughter Margaret L. Patterson.

She leaves to cherish her beloved memory, sons James Pratt (Sarah), Larry Pratt (Yolanda) and Michael Pratt, daughter Elizabeth Pratt, 8 grandchildren, Lamont, Anthony, Shaneek, Iriel, Jay. Megan, Nakita and Tyron, 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Special friends Martha Hamilton and Arlene Thompson.
