Margaret R. Hobdy-Person born September 14 ^th , 1938, in Brundidge, Alabama, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 22, 2022. She was born to the late Kermit and Serene Wheeler and into a union of 18 Siblings. She came to Akron in 1959, and worked for various companies including Unit Ware and Cascade I. She married at the age of 16, to the late Douglas Hobdy Sr., and to that union 6 children were born.

She gave her life caring for others from her own children to grand-children, great-grand-children, and great-great grand-children, and elderly patients.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Kermit and Serene Wheeler, First Husband Douglas Hobdy Sr, and second Husband Freddie Lee Person, 12 Siblings, grandchildren Octavia Hobdy Booker, Leonte Hobdy, and Cynthia Pope.

She leaves to morn her six children Sandra Hobdy Millirons, Gaile Hobdy, Gloria Hobdy Hale, Gwendolyn Hobdy, Cynthia Hobdy Harmon, and Douglas Hobdy Jr. (Stephanie), Step-Daughter Sheila Johnson and Step-Son Eddie Bowen (Pauletta). She also leaves to morn over 60 Grand, Great-Grand, and Great-Great Grand-children.

Sisters Gola Mae Foster, Diane Wheeler, Irene Campbell, Ethel Mary Lampley, and Catherine McGuire. Brother Danny F. Wheeler. Other relatives and friends.

Intermet will be at Mount Peace Cemetery.  MASK ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL SERVICES
