Mack McClendon, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2018.  He was born on March 28, 1939 in Clio, Alabama to the late Larry and Mary E. (Patterson) McClendon.  He moved to Waynesburg, Ohio at an early age and graduated from Sandy Valley High School in 1959.  Mack served in the U.S. Army where he received an honorable discharge.  He married the love of his life Pearla Massey in 1964 and to this union three children were born.  Mack retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1999.  He loved being around his family.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Rose Jones; (3) brothers, Ezzard, Charles, and Larry McClendon.  He leaves to cherish his precious memory his wife, Pearla; son,  Max (Maureen); daughters, Tracy and Pamela; (6) grandchildren, Ebony, DeAngelo (Gabrielle), Cocoa, Cashmere, Jakobe, and Chambrae; (5) great-grandchildren, K'von, Justis, Easton, Zakar, and Gia; sisters, Doris (Lenny) Griffin, Mary Frazier; brothers, Harold, Johnny (Paulette) and Mark (Laurie) McClendon; brothers-in-law, Joe Jones and William (Nadine) Massey; sister-in-law, Donna Massey; special friends, Joe Dunn, Jr., James Smith, Jerry and Shirley Mitchell, and Geraldine Lattimore.
