On Thursday, August 12, 2021, Luther Carl Cooper made his peaceful transition from labor to reward at the age of 55. He was born on May 15, 1966 in Akron, Ohio to his parents, Rev. Dr. Luther C. and Carlee Cooper. At the time of his transition his precious daughter, Phoenix Cooper and his beautiful sister, Carmela Lynn Cooper were by his side. Luther was a resident of New York City for many years.

Luther was was a graduate of Harvey S. Firestone High School. He also attended Kent State University, and because of his ability to design he was encouraged to attend Parson's School of Design. While attending he was sponsored to attend Paris for two years. Upon returning to New York, he became a licensed stockbroker, he back to school and received a degree in Philosophy.

Luther is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Dr. Luther C. Cooper; grandparents; aunts and uncles.

Luther Carl Cooper leaves to forever cherish his loving memory his loving daughter, Phoenix Cooper; mother, Carlee Cooper; sister, Carmela Lynn Cooper; chosen brothers, Lamont Williams, and Eddie Hampton; close friend, Johnny Battles Jro; special cousins, Tamika (Cullen) Rogers and Tangela Thornton and a host of loving relatives and friends.
