Obituary

Lucille "Pinkie" Smith went home to be with the Lord on March 5,2022, after a short illness. Born in Union Springs, Alabama March 24, 1937. She was a member of St John's CME Church where she served as a missionary and stewardess for many years. Lucille was employed at Chrysler Corp., VNS Service, and she retired from Akron General Medical Center.

Preceded in death by her husband Robert Smith, parents, Charles and Minnie Haynes, son, Thomas "Toby" Stubbs, sisters, Gertha L. (Nathaniel) Edwards, Evang. Ethel (Iverson) Cave, Rev. Annie (Roger) Greer, Minnie L. Colbert, brother, Charles Haynes Jr., Brothers in Law, Leroy Singletary and Robert Jones, and grandson Thomas Stubbs III

Pinkie is survived by daughters, Sherrie (Harry) Reynolds, Regina (Darius) Grice and sons, Reginald (Angela) Stubbs, and Robert Smith Jr., sisters, Willie Grace Jones, Evang. Addie Singletary. 13 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren and special friend Elmo, along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends
