Lucille McIntyre graced the earth with her presence on January 2, 1928 in Baker County, Georgia to the late Walter Arnett and Sophie M. Roberts. After embracing life as a devoted wife, an adored and nurturing mother and tireless homemaker, she approached the gates of Heaven on October 9, 2017. During the early stages of her life she joined and attended Springfield Baptist Church and after marriage, moved to Canton, Ohio to start up and raise her family as she did with the utmost dedication. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Leo McIntyre after 63 years of marriage; her sisters, Maryann Arnett, Lessie L. King, Maddie Brown, Sarah McDowell, Magnolia Hudson, Ossie M. Curl; her brothers, Walter L. Arnett, David Arnett, Elmira Arnett, James Arnett, Penny Arnett, and Buddy Arnett, and by her grandchildren, Shanshowa and Larry Jr. "Antwan", . She leaves to cherish fond memories: her children; Rubie L. Dawson, Leo McIntyre Jr., Annie M. Dave, Audrey K. Cowles (Gary), Vanessa L. McIntyre ; sister, Vera M. Edison; brother, Willie L. Arnett; grandchildren, Darren, Tara, Melanie, Dwayne, Velvet, Shane, Lamont, Rachel, Robert Jr., as well as many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews; sisters-in-law, Louise McIntyre, Dr. Laura C. McIntyre other relatives and friends.
