Louis E. Ball, Sr., age 95, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning March 4, 2018 at his home. He was born on March 11, 1922 in Fairfax, Virginia to the late Dr. Eugene, Sr. and Gladys Ball. He was honorably discharged from active duty in the United States Army. He retired from the Timken Company after 30 years of service. He was an active member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church were he served on the Trustee Board until his health prevented him from attending     services. He loved his family, sports and was a member of the VFW, American Legion and a Master Mason. In addition to his parents Louis was preceded in death by his wife Gladys S. (Miller) Ball; son, Eugene R. Ball; sister, Audrey Ball; brothers, Dr. Eugene Ball, Jr. and John Ball, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories (4) children, Jimmy Sr. (Pastor Shirley) Ball, Louis E. Ball, Jr., Sandra Herndon, Sharon Ball all of Canton, Ohio as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and friends.
