Louiese Marie Shipp, age 99 years old died on Friday, May 6, 2016, in peace at home surrounded by her family members. She was born August 4, 1916 in Lincolnton, NC. She is preceeded in death by her mother and father McClain and Ruby Johnson, 3 brothers Mack, Edward Lee and Thomas, and 2 sisters Elizabeth and Georgia Mae and 6 sons Robert, Alfred, Paul, Leroy, Herman and Lavette Shipp and her devoted husband of 57 years, Betha A. Shipp.  She is survived by 3 daughters, Girlie (William) Hall of Sandusky, Oh, Sandra (Jeff) Wilson of the home and Bonita (Michael) Farrior of Midway, Ga. One surving son Phillip (Yvette) Shipp of Columbus, Oh, 25 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, nieces nephews and cousins.

Louiese lived a loving, kind life and was blessed with the riches of Christ. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Malvern First Baptist Church for over 70 years. She was a loving mother to 10 children and a mother to the Malvern and the Canton community.

The viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 6-8  pm at All Saints Temple, 1451 Wilbur Allen Jr Avenue, SE, Canton, Oh. A Home Going Celebration will be held Thursday, May12, 2016 at Malvern First Baptist Church,311 S. Carrollton St. Malvern, Ohio at 11am . Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
