Lonnie E. Bell Sr., 87, passed away December 10, 2013.  He was a lifetime resident of this community.  He had been employed in Social Services for the Veterans Administration and was an advocate member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Preceded in death by his sons, Frank and Lonnie Bell Jr.; daughters Joanne Hines, Wilma Smith and Blanche Scott, 12 brothers and sisters. Left to celebrate his life, his wife of 46 years, Joan Bell; sister, Barbara Banks and brother Alfred Bell; daughters, Agnes (Bobby) Smith, Betty Brown, Margaret Bush and Alice Cannon; special daughter Sandra Clepper; special grandson and granddaughter, Clifton and Erica Cheatham;  22 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren;  a host of great great grandchildren,  other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; special friends, Esau Johnson, William Clepper, Gordon Keaton and Kevin Butts.
