Lonia Lee "Cookie" Pierce, age 80, departed this life, Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio.  She was born in Douglasville, Texas on November 14, 1938.

Lonia "Cookie" was raised in Douglasville, Texas, and later settled and lived in Canton, Ohio.

Lonia " Cookie: worked as a school Safety Patrol worker for Canton City Schools on High Ave. SW. for years.  Cookie loved BINGO.  She was known as the "FLASHBOARD QUEEN".

Preceded in death by her husband Emanuel Pierce; mother, Mary Williams.

Lonia "Cookie" leaves to cherish her memories to her daughter Patty Pierce; (2) granddaughters, Tashira and Kiara Pierce; great-granddaughter, Bella Pierce-Cook and family pet Safari Pierce, as well as a host of friends.
