Obituary

Lloyd “Dooter” Provitt II, born October 3, 1997, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.

Lloyd was a talented athlete who attended Garfield High School and had a deep love for basketball, football, and swimming. He was a devoted fan of the Baltimore Ravens and admirer of Kevin Durant. He also enjoyed music and gaming. Above all, he treasured spending endless time with family and friends, creating unforgettable moments.

Being a father was one of Lloyd’s greatest accomplishments. His children were his pride and joy, and he loved spending time with them– especially taking them to the park and sharing laughs together. With his warm smile, charismatic personality and generous heart, Lloyd had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved while leaving an everlasting impression on everyone he met. Though Lloyd’s time was far too short, the love and memories he leaves behind will last forever. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.

Lloyd was lovingly welcomed into eternal rest by his father Lloyd Provitt, grandparents, Shirley & Bernell Mayfield and Brenda Joyce Provitt; brother, Jamar Carey; uncles, Bernell Vickers and Carl Ragsdale.

His legacy lives through his mother Isha Vickers; children, Amarielle Gates, Lloyal Provitt, Kar’Daire Provitt, Jaliyah Terrell, Llondyn Provitt, as well as other cherished children; sisters, Nyla Brown, Shaneka, Shamarr, Shalamarr, Island, Tomorrow, Neigh’Keisha, and Kaylee; brothers, Tyrell Carswell-Vickers, Lloyd (Boo), Jataveen, Del’Andre, DeMarcus, Kingsamere, and Kayden. He shared an unbreakable brotherhood with his closest friends: Jontell, Jerry, Jashaun, Darian, Ray, Delrico, Charleston, Corey, Derek, Davon, and Chambers; special bonds with Tweet, Cenita, Klazzic, Dah Dah, Bubba, Jaleah, and G.G. Powell; great grandfather, Lloyd Provitt; grandfather, Donald Moore Sr.; circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. While every name may not be listed, every person he loved and who loved him held a meaningful place in his life.
