Linda Bernise Brown (Jeffries) was called home to be with the lord on December 21, 2023. She was born to parents Lela Bell Lacey (Jeffries) and Earl Frank Lacey on May 20, 1950.

She is preceded in death by her parents Earl Frank and Lela Bell Lacey (Jeffries); brothers, Earl F. Lacey and Thomas W. Lace;  grandparents, Ruby M. Lacey and Mary Woodson (Jeffries).

She leaves to cherish her memories loving daughter, Dreana Brown; sons, Andre Brown and Clarence Brown; loving sister cousins, Diana Jeffries(Jackson) and Regina Jeffries; Grandchildren, Chelissia, Dreshawna, Shalandre (Martell), Deja, Ceasar, Sabriah, Janae, Chyna, A'Lehyah, Brandon, Amyr, Yusuf, Araf, Fatir and Dayshawn; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Linda attended Akron Public Schools and worked at BF Goodrich R&D for ten years shortly after Linda was a long time employee of Little Tikes for 25 years then she retired. She loved her job and the yearly Christmas parties they used to have. Shortly after her retirement she was then a crossing guard for a couple months. She loved kids. Linda had a very loving heart she was the matriarch to the family she loved the holidays and loved to collect collectable dolls. She was very photogenic she created so many memories and her favorite color was purple. Linda's favorite foods were chicken liver and rice , shrimp Lomé and spaghetti but most of all you couldn't forget her cup of black coffee. You all know she loved her family and friends very much
