Lillie Mae Greene, 100, went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2023, surrounded by her family.  Born in Piney Grove, NC, she was a long-time resident of the Akron Community.

Lillie was a member of Providence Baptist Church serving on the Nurses Guild, Mother's Board and the food Pantry.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband; George L. Greene, sons; Richard, Morty, and Steve, daughter; Stephanie.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory devoted caretaker and daughter; Audrey, Marilyn and Rose, sisters; Evelyn, Jeanette, Gerthel and a host of grands, great-grands and many many friends.
