Lester Strode, Sr., age 92, passed away peaceful at home on February 23, 2020.  Born August 29,  1927 in Panola, Alabama, he was the seventh of eight sons born to the late Henry Sr. and Beulah Strode.  He married his wife of 71 years on December 24, 1948, Selena (Jackson) Strode.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by all of his brothers and his son Donald Strode.

Lester leaves to cherish his precious memory his wife, Selena; children, Mildred (Elmer) Duff of Detroit, Michigan, Lester Strode, Jr. of Canton, Ohio, Berma Mack of Texas, Ronald (Beverly) Strode of Hawaii, Sandra (Onyango) Bashir-Muhammad of Columbus, Ohio, Beulah (Ervin)  Wesley of Canton, Ohio, Michael Strode of Hawaii, Angela Strode of Hawaii, Dwight (Donna) Strode of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Dwayne Strode of Canton, Ohio.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, grand children, and great-grandchildren.
