Lester B. Ellis, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 23, 2021, after a brief illness.

Lester, the eldest of 12 was born on November 30, 1935 in Sallis, Mississippi to the late Lester and Sue (Ball) Ellis.

Lester worked at Goodwill Industries for several years and later retired from Dalton Industries.  He loved working in his yard, gardening and landscaping, as well as tinkering around with small engine equipment.  He enjoyed attending sporting events with his son and brothers.  He was affectionately known as  "Uncle B".

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Ellis, Callie Greer, Susie Snow; brothers, Oscar Ellis, and Tommy "Kelly" Ellis.

Lester leaves to cherish his memory his son, J.B. (Rosalyn) Ellis;   granddaughters, Denika Ellis of Columbus, Ohio, Alisha Ellis of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; grandson, Marques Ellis of Middletown, Ohio; sister, Dorothy "Dee" Mack of Canton, Ohio; brothers, Ben "Sonny" (Lois) Ellis, Willie D. (Beverly) Ellis, L.Q. (Mary) Ellis all of Canton, Ohio, James (Lottie) Ellis of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Larry (Eunice) Ellis of Surprise, Arizona, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
