Obituary

Lawrence was born September 23, 1942 to Lewis Milton Johnson Sr. and Virginia Evelyn Sain.  As a small child he got the nickname of  "Cadillac"         because he could run real fast.

"Cadillac" graduated from East High School and shortly afterwards he joined the United States   Navy where he was stationed in Brooklyn, New York as a Dental Technician 3rd Class.  After serving (6) years in the Navy, he was Honorably Discharged and started employment with General Tires working in various   positions that included driving to different sites and operating heavy tractor machines until they closed their doors, but not before he received his Diesel     Engineer Mechanic Certificate.

He loved to stay busy, working at many car washes and watching old western movies, sci-fi        television and any kind of sports that came on.  In    addition he enjoyed working on cars, cracking jokes or just talking mess with family and friends.

"Cadillac" did not have any biological children but he did have an abundance of nieces and nephews that he loved as if they were his own that also included his honorary step-son Kenny and his Lady Friend     Viola.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Carlton.

He leaves his only surviving sibling; brother Lewis M. Johnson Jr. who will miss him dearly.
