Laurie A. Lane, of Newcomerstown, passed in her home, at age 54 on Saturday, November 10, 2018 due to an extended illness. She was born in Painesville, Ohio on March 1, 1964, the first daughter of the late Gene and Martha Huff. Laurie was predeceased by her husband, and soulmate, Douglas K. Lane. They married in May of 1992 and resided in Canton where they raised eight children together.  Laurie had many hobbies, some traditional, others more unique to her. She believed in family, friends and food. She firmly stood to there being "more room out than in". She acquired many nicknames throughout her life from "Goonie" to "Big Foot". So no matter how you knew her, consider yourself lucky.  She was a selfless woman, who would do whatever necessary, to help the people she loved. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Tonya D. of Canton, Laurie R. of Jewett, Jagmmes B. of New Phila. and Crystal P. of Bolivar; step-children, Sara, Christopher, Steven and Nicholas; eldest  granddaughter, Angelica D. along with (14) other cherished grandchildren; siblings, Edward (Robin) Huff, Ronald (Cindy) Huff and Linda (John) Huff; a host of nieces, nephews, and in-laws too numerous to list but never forgotten.  Laurie impacted everyone  she met in one way or another and will be greatly missed by those closest to her.
