LaTonya Coreen McGhee, aka "Tee" 34, was born in Akron, Ohio, on May 22, 1987 to Videssie L. McGhee and Wesley L. Washington. She gained her heavenly wings unexpectedly on April 1st, 2023.
Tee attended Akron Public Schools. She loved God, going to church, traveling with her children and entertaining family and friends. As a lover of life, she lived periods of her life in Las Vegas, NV, and Warren, OH, but never forgot her home here in Akron, OH. She dedicated her life to children and making sure they were happy.
By those who loved and knew her best, Tee was described as "always having ideas" and never afraid to try new things. As a fun creative person, she became a licensed technician in micro-blading brows, and eyelash extensions. She was the founder, and creator of the BE-U-TI-FUL KIDS LIVES MATTER, an organization dedicated to children with special needs feeling completely embraced by society. Tee's love and excitement for life showed in everything she did.
LaTonya "Tee" is preceded in death by her Fiancé Charles Williams Sr., Maternal Grandmother Cora Roper, Uncle Virgil Roper, and Great Aunt Sandra Sanders.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughters: Ady'Zeona Woodsand and Adyjjsia Williams, son Charles Williams Jr., mother Videssie L. McGhee (Sherman), Father Wesley L. (Sheila) Washington, sister Shawnta McGhee, all of Akron, OH, stepbrothers John Gibson of Columbus, OH, Jack (Dalanda) Gibson of Mesa, AZ, nephews JuSean McGhee and JuSiaha McGhee, nieces Sha'Nija Stafford and Shai'Anne McGhee, great-niece Ma'Niyah Hardiman, paternal grandparents Tonya and Donald Carter, maternal grandparents Preston and Allison Duckworth, aunts Virni Roper of Akron, OH, Lakisha (Ike) Kuegah-Toyo of Atlanta, GA, uncles Wilbert Roper, Michael Washington, Brandon Duckworth, Carl Duckworth and Paul Duckworth, special friend Leslie Dubose, and a host of cousins, and friends.
