La Tracia
C. Sullivan
June 16, 1976 – July 4, 2023
May her kind and loving soul rest….
La'Tracia Sullivan was born and raised in Akron, Ohio on June 16, 1976, and attended (Ellet High School). After graduation she began working. If you knew her, she always kept multiple jobs at once. Later in life, Traci attended Stark State College and not only graduated with one but three degrees. While she tried to find a job in her study, she ended up using her captivating friendly personality in customer service at Signet Jewelers, ending as her last job.
A lot of people loved to call her "Traci or T-Nice!" If she wasn't working long hours to provide for her family she was spending quality time with her children, grandchildren and her mother. Her hobbies consisted of cooking, watching her stories, Golden Girls and The Food Network. She loved to talk about food with her youngest child and shared dreams of opening a restaurant with each other one day. Traci enjoyed spending time with her close friends, family and sisters and was also an active member of New Hope Baptist Church until she fell ill. She participated in the church choir, she was leader of several clubs in the church, she attended many church events and even helped host a few. She shared her joy and faith in the Lord with her family.
La'Tracia was a kind and loving soul. She wanted to spread that joy and kindness all around her and everywhere she went and with everyone she met. Her never-ending enthusiasm to spend quality time together attracted many. Her constant want to be surrounded by her family lets us remember her as the tender hearted, affectionate friend, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt that she was. She was a true gem and loved to show and express how much she appreciated those around her.
La'Tracia was preceded in death by her sister, Charleasea Ty-Sing Turner; mother, Nancy Ann Sullivan; father, S.B. Sullivan, Jr.
She is survived by sons, Ja'Montae Walker, Sean J. Jefferys Jr; daughters, Sean'Nese C. Sullivan Jefferys, Sean'Nae L. Sullivan Jefferys; sisters, La'Fawn N.Jones (Lester Jones) and La'Rissa J. Jackson; brothers, J.D Holmes, Israel E. Nelson, Brandon Steven Caldwell, Millicent Nelson. Three grandchildren, Ja'Niyah N. Walker, Ja'Miyah () Walker, Jeremiah () Armor; five nieces, Taylor, Jewel, Jenesis, Brooklyn and Joi; four nephews, Kyle, Justin, Noah, and Nikolas.
Now while La'Tracia endured a lot of pain and suffering over the past few years, we are at peace now knowing that she tried and gave it her all and is welcomed into the loving arms of God, walking with her parents in heaven.
