Ky'Ree Jamel Young was born on October 5th, 2002 to Tonya Young-Ferguson and Alexander Quarterman.

Ky'Ree attended Barberton and Akron public schools. He was known for being a phenomenal football player and leading his teams to many wins and victories. He loved his family and adored being a father. Ky'Ree was ranked within the top 12 in the nation with his football career and had numerous offers to top universities throughout the nation.  Ky'Ree began his football career with Akron West pee-wee football and then transitioned to his highlighting football career with Barberton Youth Football where he then advanced to Barberton Middle School and eventually to St. Vincent- St Mary HS. He then returned back to Barberton HS where he had his highest HS career stats. He had 177 rushing attempts, 1,829 yards and 24 touchdowns. Ky'Ree then transferred to Buchtel for his junior year and played a brief football season. He then transferred from Massillon to Buchtel to finish his senior year. Ky'Ree was a recent graduate from Buchtel High School. He enjoyed spending time with his mother, siblings and special friends and family members the most. He was known and seen as being the highlight of the party when he was around. He made sure to remind each and every person he was around at any moment how much he loved and cared for them; he was a true lover and sweetheart. Ky'Ree will truly be missed by everyone!

Ky'Ree is preceded in death by Laura Cloud (Great-grandmother), Gloria Young (grandmother), Carmen Young (Aunt). He is survived by parents Tonya Young-Ferguson and Alexander Quarterman. Daughters: Nyomi and Nova Young(unborn); brothers: Earik Ferguson, Alexander Jr and Allen Quarterman, Treyvon Thomas; sisters: Ky'Mel and Gloria Ferguson (Kenneth), Antoine' and Azyia Martin (Stephan), Jada Young (Tyrese), Nymira Quarterman; Grandparents: William Anderson, Ernistine, Alexander Stallworth, Pamela Brewington; Girlfriend/Mother of Children: Tahzai Kirklin; Nieces: Aiyva McReynolds, Ivionna Prince, Paisley Ferguson, Kymara Henderson; Nephews: Kymier Prince, Earik Ferguson Jr., Grayson Ferguson, Kenneth Henderson III, Hunter Ward(unborn); Aunts: Kimberly Dowdell, Charlotte and Laquetta Quarterman; Uncle: Walter Young; Special brothers: Michael Lloyd, Terrance Owens, Kylin, Delbert Jr. and Darrion Rackley, Darrin Welch, Deontay Brown, Antoine Martin, Javeon Mills, Demarcus Rogers; Special cousins: Christian (Derrick) Chatman, Courtney (Delbert) Rackley, Corey Young, Kimisha Dowdell and Myisha Lloyd.
