Kenneth R Nelson, born May 23, 1955, received his call on May 30, 2024, for his new home in heaven. Kenneth Ray Nelson born to the late parents of John W and Addie Nelson (Shelly) on May 23, 1955. A life resident of Akron, Ohio, Kenneth departed this life on May 30, 2024. Kenneth was educated in Akron Public Schools. He was a member of the Philadelphia Assembly Baptist Church, he was retired, but was formerly employed at Sears. Kenneth also worked on cars and was a help to others whenever possible until his health began to fail.  His favorite scripture was Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings of an eagle, they shall run an not be weary; they shall walk and not faint:

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, John W and Addie Nelson and brother Carter Nelson. He is survived by his son Kenneth Browning, and sisters Pastor Joanne Bell, Minister Tanya (Bennie) Carter, Anna M Nelson all o Akron, Ohio and Renee Johnson of Ravenna, Ohio. Brothers, Charles W Nelson, Waldorf Maryland, and Jerome Nelson of Cleveland, Ohio. Special nephew Michael E Brown, in addition to many nieces, nephews' cousins and friends.
