Kenneth Antoine Green, affectionately known as "Doughboy," departed this world on June 16, 2026, at the age of 49. Born in Akron, Ohio, on November 28, 1976, Kenneth was a beacon of warmth, love, and generosity, who touched the lives of all who had the privilege to know him.

The son of Eva M. Green, the late Kenneth Mccloude and William Toomer, was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Mccloude, fondly remembered as "Kenny Mac ". Kenneth's legacy is carried forward by his loving son, Kenneth Green Jr., affectionately known as "Toot," and his treasured grandchildren, Amiyla Monae Saafir and Kennedi Shree Green; his loving siblings, Tonya Lane, Kenneth Lane -"Boozie", (Renee) Kenneth Mccloude, Latonya Green, William "Bill" Green, Brandon Green, Bryant Green, Brenton Green, and Bradley Green in addition to his uncles, William (Jane) Mccloude, Raymond (Tiffany) Mccloude and Mustafa Muhammad; aunt, Paula (Salvatore) Sawyer and his nephew raised like a son, Brian Green. A special bond was shared with his cousin, like a brother, Warren McCray, known lovingly as "Warren G." He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews' cousins, friends and other relatives who will forever cherish his memory.

"Doughboy’s" journey took him through Schumacher Elementary, Perkins Middle where he played baseball, football and basketball at a young age and John R. Buchtel High School, where he graduated in 1996, leading him to Barber School, where he completed his training in 2001. He became renowned as the family and community barber, a role he embraced with pride and precision until his final rest. His hands were not only skilled with scissors and clippers; they were also adept at creating art, be it through drawing or sewing. An early interest in sewing saw him crafting his famous pillows, each stitch a testament to his creativity.

Doughboy's love for life was most vividly expressed in his passion for hosting gatherings and cooking sumptuous soul-food dinners. Fashion was another canvas for his self-expression, and his home was a sanctuary of joy and laughter, a place where friends and family were always welcome.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kenneth's life at a service on June 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church, located at 690 S Main St, Akron, OH 44311. Together, we will honor his memory, sharing stories of joy and love, as we remember the man who brought warmth and light into our lives.
