Keion "Kee" DeGrate, 21, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, was taken away from his loved one's tragically on December 8, 2024. Keion was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan into a blended family as the sixth child of seven siblings, four brothers Jeremy Price, Justyce Price, London DeGrate, Martin DeGrate JR, and two sisters Chelsea (Anthony) Roswell and Kathleen (Adam) Mosley.  Keion attended Archbishop Hoban High School where he excelled in academics, steel drums, track and field and enjoyed basketball and football.  Keion graduated from Hoban at the age of 17 and went on to attend the HBCU Central State University that following fall.  Keion had planned on going back to college in January of 2025. Keion had an opportunity to travel the world and experience so many beautiful things with his family and eventually with his friends.  As a child, Keion would watch the weather channel like most kids watched   cartoons.  Keion was the peacemaker and would give you the world if he could because he loved so fluently.   Keion's smile and laughter was infectious.  His hugs, oh my, his hugs, if you ever had the honor of receiving one you will understand the sentiment.  Keion loves animals but especially dogs, between Keion and his brothers we have four dogs and three puppies. Keion loved music, he loved listening to it and making it.  Music was a way his heart would speak to you without ever saying a word.  He started playing the piano at a young age and steel drums during high school.  A couple days before he passed, he wrote some lyrics titled, "Thinkintomyself." Keion has been loved from conception.  Keion is wanted, Keion is needed, Keion is special. Keion knew he was loved immensely every second of every moment of his life.  EVERY MOMENT. Keion was raised on love and not fear.  He was raised to love and not hate.   Keion will be deeply missed by his loving family, parents, Zebulun and Martin SR, his best friends, his brothers Jeremy, Justyce and London.  Keion's sisters Chelsea and Katie and brother Martin Jr.  Keion's Uncles Kevin (Belinda) McKinney, Keith McKinney, Michael DeGrate and Aunts Zsa Zsa Keenan, Zephoria McKinney, Diana DeGrate. Keion's nieces Leila Price, Jaliyah Price, Kai Price, Aria    Mosley, Kaira Mosley, Mia Mosley, Marianna DeGrate and nephews Tah'Jiere Howard and Adam Rosselló.  A host of cousins and friends.   Special mention Keion's (VIP) Ty'anna Carter and the love of his short life Sanye Parker.
