Kayelisa Renee Martin "KK" was born March 4, 1994, the third of six children to proud parents Sherman Martin Jr. and Odette Avause Martin in Canton, OH. She was a graduate of Glen Oak High School where she also played basketball and was a member of the dance program. KK also attended Michelle's Dance School. At present she was enrolled in Phlebotomy classes at Canton City Schools with hopes of becoming a nurse. KK was a stern young lady with a lot of attitude. She had a heart that never stopped loving; she loved her family and friends unconditionally. Affectionately know as daddy and mommy's baby brat.
She accepted Christ at a very early age at Union Baptist Church under her father Rev. Sherman Martin where she was in the youth choir.
Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Otis and Mary Williams; great grandparents Horace and Agatha Martin, Joe and Sadie Hubbard.
She was a devoted mother that loved her son; accompanying her in this transition from life is her son Omoyele Nehemiah Gonzalez.
She leaves to cherish her memory: parents: Sherman and Odette Martin sister: Di Anna Martin of Canton; brothers: Jeremey Martin; Juhmani, Jetaiya, Jamontez Smith; nieces Kylyn,Alyvia and Akire Martin; nephews Jeremy "Baby J" and Emir whom she loved dearly all of Canton.
Grandparents Sherman (Barb) Martin; aunts: Shelia, Kovetta, Shermell Martin, Denise Thomas, Shonteva Burks, Lillie Williams, Cassandra Johnson Yahtonja Cheatham, Mittese Bankston; uncles: Kevin, Rodney Martin, Christopher Williams.
God parents: Lisa Sims and Rick Hariston; God sisters: Marshaa Lucas and Aisha Carter; and a host of family and friends whom she loved dearly.
She also will be cherished by her significant other, Omoyele J.H. Gonzalez.
