Katie Mae Frizzle Snead was born June 1, 1931 to the late Jeff Frizzle, Sr., and Willie Johnson Frizzle in Montgomery, AL. Katie accepted Christ at a very young age and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Birmingham, AL.  While living in Birmingham, she met and married the late Matthew Snead. Katie has received a new address in heaven; standing, waiting and smiling to greet her are her parents, Jeff Frizzle, Sr., and  Willie Frizzle; husband, Matthew; sisters, Essie Mae, Mattie Pearl; and brothers, Jeff, Jr., Abraham, William, Charlie and Johnny; her nephew, Jeff III and nieces, Betty and Alice.  Oh what a great time they will have! She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Christine Frizzle Snead; grandson, Jeffrey (Shirley) Snead; great-granddaughters, Elise, Martina and Saprese; great-great grandson, Braylon Snead; brother, Perry (Mildred) Frizzle, Sr. of Birmingham, AL; sisters-in-law, Fannie Frizzle of Birmingham, AL, Bertha Snead of Louisiana, Rose Snead of Chicago, IL; brothers-in-law, Lewis (Lavona) Snead of Chicago, IL, Calvin (Sharon) Snead of Detroit, MI and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
