Kathy Renee (Robinson) Perrin, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of deep love, kindness, and unwavering strength that will live on in every heart she touched.

Kathy was more than just kind—she was comforting. Her warm heart and generous spirit made people feel at home. Whether through a gentle conversation, a knowing smile, or simply her presence, she had a way of easing burdens and making others feel seen, valued, and loved.

She cherished her family above all else. Loving them was not just something she did—it was who she was. Kathy found her greatest joy in being surrounded by those she held dear, celebrating life’s moments both big and small. She offered guidance without judgment, encouragement without hesitation, and love without condition. Her strength uplifted her family, and even now, her love continues to hold them close.

Kathy’s life was full, meaningful, and uniquely her own. As a young girl, she was active in the Brownies and Girl Scouts and proudly marched with the Elks Cadets Marching Troupe and the Canton McKinley High School Marching Band. Her faith was a steady foundation throughout her life. As a young girl, Kathy was a member of the Bethel CME Church youth Choir. She also attended Deliverance Christian Church and later pastored by her brother, Howard Robinson Sr., of Living Word Christian Fellowship Church.

She graduated from Canton McKinley High School and Roffler Hair Design School, carrying with her a strong work ethic and determination. Kathy worked at the Hoover Company, Ford Motor Company and later dedicated 26 years of her life to the Timken Roller Bearing Company, where she became known as a true expert on the Stamper machine. She was sharp, insightful, and strong-minded—often affectionately called “Marcia Clark” because of her passion, confidence, and natural sense of the legal system and justice. Kathy was a natural activist and admired the infamous Angela Davis. She once dreamed of becoming an attorney, a dream that reflected her intelligence and fearless voice. Kathy had many hobbies, but she most enjoyed collecting Pandora, clowns, and Thomas Kincaid creations. She loved football and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

Kathy will be remembered not only for what she did, but for how she made people feel. Her resilience, her compassion, and her unwavering love left a lasting imprint on countless lives. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Frank (Monica) McLeod and Gary MD Perrin; her beloved grandchildren Felise, Gary (Trey), Amena, Shawn, Isaiah, B'Beautiful and Marcel; her siblings Howard (Denise) Robinson and Aleemah (Nita) Robinson-Muhammad, Rinaldo (Lisa) Barkley; her special sister Lynette Knight Johnson; and special son Adrian Armstead. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Jerald (Sylene) Robinson I, Troy (Tamara) Robinson, Kimberly (Vincent) Robinson-Herriott, Amber (Betsy) Robinson, Ashley Robinson, Dr. Shahkila (Alex Redman) Daniels, and Michael Roberson; her aunts Marion Kelly, Frances Barkley, and Jenny Barkley; her cousins Rinaldo (Ricky) Barkley, Terrilae Tuck, Sheila Barkley Bennett, Delonda Hawkins, Darnell Barkley, and Richard Barkley, along with a host of Cousins, Perrin In-Laws, godchildren, special sons, special daughters, and dear friends who will forever carry her memory.

Kathy’s heavenly home was lovingly prepared by those who went before her—her husband and the love of her life, Gary Perrin; her parents, Eula (Sue) and Howard Robinson Sr.; her siblings Sandra and Robbie Robinson; her foster brother Steve Strong; her grandparents Effie and Jasper Barkley Sr., Mary Frances (Nannie) Robinson, and Sam Robinson; her great grandmothers Mary Broy, Daisy Crenshaw (Jeffries), and Anna B Barkley; her aunts Mary Alice and Hilda Barkley; her uncles Harvey Barkley and Jasper Barkley Jr.; and Uncle Joe Webb-Barkley. Kathy has also reunited with her best friend, Sheila Sanders—what a beautiful and joyous reunion that must be, heaven is complete with the phenomenal three. Sista Jo, Todd, and Nay, Ooowee!

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Kathy’s love never leaves us. It lives on in every memory shared, every lesson taught, and every life she touched. The love she gave so freely will continue to shine through her family for generations to come.

Kathy will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
