Kathy L. Hood (56) born May 23, 1960 in Columbus OH,  Kathy departed this life on January 16, 2017 after an extended Illness.  Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Nancy Wright-Hood, her brother Bryan Hood and granddaughter: Savannah Mance. Kathy was a member of Unity Life Fellowship Church of God in Christ. Kathy loved to read, she volunteered at C.A.R.E. Christian Academy, she loved to read to the children.  She loved remembering people's birthdays and would give you a call/send a card or do both.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her special "son" Terrell (TG) Dillworth.   Another good thing about Kathy, no matter how long it had been since you saw her or talked to her, she picked the conversation up as though you had just spoken to her with that unique laugh.  She drove her Cadillac (scooter) all over town and we MEAN all over town, she would often stop at her favorite pharmacy Dartmouth and recharge.  Kathy loved people and saw the good in everyone. Kathy is survived by her daughters: Ashley Mance, Shakia (Dustin) Holm and Brother Kevin Hood, Grandchildren Gabrielle, Dominic, and Donte' Holm, Olivia Mance and her special cousin Linda Patterson whom she often referred to as her mother and who helped take care of her throughout her life and especially during her sickness.
