Family and friends, we mourn the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Kathleen Michelle Hopson was born June 25, 1955, to Christine and Clarence Moore in Akron, Ohio.

Kathleen attended Akron Public Schools. She enjoyed the simple things in life, gardening, watching Judge Judy while devouring her Church's Chicken, coleslaw, and please don't forget the jalapenos!  She had a knack for gardening; she had the greenest thumb! She could turn a weed into a flourishing plant, even a twig, she would work her magic and once a twig, would now be a thriving healthy decorative plant. 

Zebra print, polka dot, cheetah print, and anything red was a staple in this fashionista's closet. Thrifting, yard sales, and closeout sales would love to see her coming. Kathleen refused to leave until she touched, examined, tried on, and made a deal on the items she set her beautiful hazel eyes on!

Affectionately known as "Shotgun Kit Kat", she was always down for a joyride. Whether it was riding through the city or traveling to another city, she was always ready! 

Kathleen loved her music, Cardi B. being her all-time favorite, coming in second place with a tie was Keisha Cole and Gerald LeVert. Now when it came to dancing, Kit Kat had her own style. Her twist and two-step could not be topped!  Kathleen was indeed the life of the party! Kit Kat loved life! She was a free spirit who loved her Hershey chocolate to be exact! 

Mom, we LOVE you! You will be missed Kat and all her kittens, It's Meow for now, gone but not forgotten!

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, older sister, Darlene Moore; younger sister, Sandra (Rickey) Beard, and grandson Jordan (Bolderz) Hopson. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, (6) children, Tiffany, Candice, Antwon (Stamica), Brandon, Michael, and Travis (Kara) Hopson all of Akron; (13) grandchildren, and (7) great grandchildren., as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
