Saturday, January 17th at the blessed age of 93, Katherine Davis    transitioned into God's Kingdom. She was born in Brundidge,         Alabama on November 22, 1921 to the union of the late Bass and  Vera Stephens. Katherine later moved to Montgomery, Alabama where she met the love of her life  Eddie Davis Sr.. During the boycotts she left Alabama and headed north, where she lived in Malvern, Ohio, she worked at the Little Forest Inn until she relocated to Canton, Ohio. Katherine enjoyed her life as a mother and grandmother. All her life she devoted herself to raising her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, instilling great morals and values into their lives. Katherine's passion was   cooking and gardening. As a       devoted housemother, she worked hard to provide for her family. Katherine was  truly an   amazing mother, grandmother, aunt,  and friend. She will forever be missed, but her legacy will continue on through her family. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Davis Sr., daughter; Evelyn Card, son; Johnnie Davis. Katherine leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughters; Joyce Davis, Gloria(Jesse) Gavin, Annie Davis, Elizabeth Townsley, and Theresa (Larry) Hamilton, one son Eddie Davis Jr. twenty six grandchildren, sixty five great grandchildren and  twenty eight great– great grandchildren. Katherine loved them all equally, but a few were close to the home, Kim and Kelli   Davis, Jamaal Davis, Scotty Fox, Darrelyn Card, RJ Card, Donti Townsley, Rafiel Townsley, James Townsley, Rahasson Davis, Rajhi Davis, Dana Townsley, Charise Card, Kristina    Davis, Shondra Broyles, and Alicia Toney. Special nephews; Jon William (JW) Stephens and William (Bucky) Stevens, special niece Mattie Haynes.
