Mrs. Karen Esther Harper was born to the late Maurice and Julia Mae Harper on October 25, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Despite life's challenges, Karen remained strong-willed and blessed to be a blessing to those she greeted with her radiant smile and strong hugs.  She joined in fellowship with God's House of Grace, which later became, United Praise C.O.G.I.C., on August 25, 2008 where she served faithfully until the Lord called her home.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harper; and her parents, Maurice and Julia Mae Harper.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her five children: Grady, Iesha, Tamitha, Kadesha, and Malcolm; and the entire United Praise Family.
