Kameela Farrakhan, age79, of Canton, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023.  She was born on November 18, 1943, to William Henry and Bettie Mae (Martin) Bell and was a graduate of McKinley Senior High School, class of 1962. She continued her education   attending Central State University, Wilberforce, Ohio.

Kameela was an active member of International Free and Accepted Modern Masons, Inc., and Order of the     Eastern Stars (32 yrs.) and LIFE Ministries International Church. She had a passion for cooking and baking for family and friends. Kameela was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister; she was extremely loyal to her faith, family, and friends. Her grandchildren and      great-grandchildren were the joy of her life.

Kameela is proceeded in death by her parents, her granddaughter, Jaaymeze Farrakhan; sisters, Bobbie Jean (Bell) Foster, Cheryl Jean Bell, Joann Bell, Connie White and Donna Griffith; and brothers, Eugene and Ronald Bell.

She is survived by her daughter, Zahiyyah (Farrakhan) Smith; grandsons, Elijah Farrakhan, and Sherrod            Farrakhan; sisters, Evelyn Ann Foster, Edythe Elayne     Stinson and Darlene Bell; a host of great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; family members; and friends. Kameela was one who loved well and was well-loved.

In this time of sorrow, the family would like to express their gratitude for the love and support we have received through the many calls, cards, kind words, and prayers. Kameela will be remembered by many as the Queen of Love!!
