Juanita Long (Rose), 91, of Akron, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Hospice in her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Long, son Frazier and daughter Cynthia Freeman.  She is survived by her children, Dorothy (Richard) Williams of St. Louis, MO., Cornelia (Bill) Leavell of Akron, Gregory Long,  Akron and Lanier Long, Manhattan, New York; one sister Ruth Pugh of Union Springs, AL., sister-in-law Rose Pugh of Chicago, IL; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, 2 great great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom she loved dearly; one special daughter Cathy Talley.  Juanita's life  was dedicated to the church.  She sang in the choir for years, she taught Sunday School and founded the  "Women's Guild" at New Trinity Baptist Church.
