In the name of God the most merciful and the eternally merciful, Jonathon Deon Gurley went with his creator on May 13, 2021 after battling an extended illness.

Born in Alliance, Ohio on November 15, 1977 to his parents  Sidney Lilly Sr. and Mary Gurley.

Deon attended Montevallo High School, graduating in 1997.  He became a fan and follower of the SF49ers.  His choice of pets were reptiles.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Matthew and Edna Lilly Sr.; grandmother, Minnie Hamilton of Alabama; grandfather, William Gurley; uncle, Matthew Lilly Jr.; brother,  Sidney Lilly Jr; favorite reptile, Smokey.

He is survived by his significant partner (2 hearts beat as one) Amanda Board; children, Aquasia Board, Kameron Shortridge, Zarliyah Board-Gurley of Alliance and Joseph Miller of      Alabama; parents, Sidney (Pecorial) Lilly Sr. and Mary (Gurley) Reezer; sisters, Alonya Mitchell-Bradford, Latorria Lilly, Dwan Reezer and Mary Danielle McCary; brothers, Marcus (Jemecia) Gurley, De'Andre McCary, Sidney Lilly III, and Austin Lilly; (2) grandchildren; aunt, Cheryl Grimes; special cousins, John and Paris Cameron; friends, Cortyco Ford and Dion Cundiff.
