Obituary

Johnson "Tub" Tyson was born October 5, 1939 in Worth County, G.A. to the late Thad and Annie Lou Tyson. He departed this life December 13, 2015 after a short illness. He worked at Canton Malleable Iron for 23 years and retired from Canton Casting. He enjoyed his job as a school crossing guard. He was preceded in death by his three brothers; Sammie, Thad "Junebug", and Frank Tyson; one sister,  Annie Daniels; daughter, Sylvia Houston; brother-in-law, Willie Crockett and great grandson DaVier A. Cooks. He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife Nell Tyson; one daughter, Cassandra Massey; his sons, Toney Tyson, George (Leslie) Austin, Eugene (Linda) Austin, Freddie (Sherry) Houston, Carl Houston; two sisters, Ruth (Thomas) Card, Alice Crockett; one brother, Arthur Tyson; one sister-in-law, Mamie Tyson; one aunt, Ruth Finsley and a special grandson, Marcus Houston, 24 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
