Johnny D.L. Gaiter, 40, of Akron, Ohio passed away on July 9, 2022. Johnny was born on January 15, 1982 to Golina F. Gaiter in Akron, Ohio. Johnny attended Akron Public Schools. Johnny loved spending time with his family and friends, playing his video games, and loving his dogs. Johnny is survived by his wife, Melinda Gaiter and two daughters Dajane' and Johnne' Gaiter; granddaughter Myricale Reeves; mother Golina Gaiter and "his dad" Gregory Tolbert; three sisters Hattrice Gaiter, SirShawna Dowdy; Tawana (Larry) Joseph; niece Brizhane' Harrison and nephew Larry Joseph III; Aunt Rita Irvine; Uncles Leon Smith and Roderick Gaiter; and a host of cousins and many close friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life service on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 1:00p. The celebration will be at Rhoden Memorial Home at 1101 Palmetto Ave, Akron, Ohio 44306.
