Johnnie Mae Butler, age 87, departed this life on Monday, March 25, 2013. She was born on January 19, 1926 in Canton, Ohio to Cora Lee Ricks and Henry Phillips.  Johnnie Mae retired from Canton Christian Home.  She joined Antioch Baptist Church at an early age. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles VB Butler; her parents, three brothers, one sister and one grandson. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Constance (Jack) Calhoun and Coraetta (Thomas) Patterson; five grandchildren, Rayetta (Willy) Kanters, Crystal Patterson, Elana (Kevin) Matthews of Dayton, OH, Kristie (James) Ladson, Jack Calhoun, III; one brother, Clark (Clair) McDonald of Rochester, NY; six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.  Special thanks to the aids and nurses at Pines Nursing Home; and Northcoast Hospice.
