John W. Pratt, 82, passed way on April 13, 2019.  He was born in Madison, NC and had been a resident of the Akron Community for a number of years, retiring from J.B. Stout as a landscaper. Preceded in death by parents, George and Mary Pratt; daughter, Margaret L. Patterson, he leaves to cherish his memory, sons, James (Sarah), Larry (Yolanda) and Michael Pratt; daughters, Elizabeth and Kelia Trammell; sisters, Dorothy Lowe, Annie Ruth Lowe, Hattie Jane Hayes and Mary Elizabeth Brown; 11 grandchildren and a host of stepchildren, nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and friends.
