John-Michael Felder was born to the union of Johnnie and Virginia Felder on October 12, 1978.  He transitioned into the arms of our Heavenly Father on July 24, 2021.  John-Michael professed hope in Christ at an early age, and was baptized at Tabernacle Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Isaiah Paul.

John-Michael attended Schumacher Elementary School, Perkins Middle School, Buchtel High School, and was a 1997 graduate of Firestone High School.  He attended The University of Akron and Computer Numerical Control Training (CNC) and received his certification in 2013.  He was employed by Chrysler Corporation in Twinsburg, and last worked at JM Corporation in Cuyahoga Falls.    He enjoyed football, playing with Firestone High School, and the Akron Jaguars.

John-Michael was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Felder; grandparents, Hardy and Mary Felder, Montgomery, Alabama, and Rufus and Flora Thompson, Russellville, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memory Sons: John-Michael Felder II, and Joshua M. Felder, Cleveland, OH; Mother, Virginia Felder, Akron, Ohio; Aunts: Bertha Hamilton, Copley, Ohio, Sarah Simpson, Florence, Alabama, Catherine Felder, Montgomery, Alabama, Gloria Felder, Atlanta, GA, and Betty Felder, Montgomery, AL; Uncles: Turner L. Thompson, Florence, AL, Albert Sankey, Jessie Felder, Claude Felder, Kennedy Felder and Anthony Felder, Montgomery, AL; numerous favorite cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
