Obituary

"I'm Free Now" Jerry Williams, age 62, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2015, following an extended illness. A loving, wonderful, kindhearted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Jerry knew the Lord and prayed and served Him as best he could. He was a praying man and full of wisdom. A giver of self, taking food to work, dialysis, neighbors and friends.  He was a super great cook. He enjoyed going fishing and watching all sports, a gun and sports card collector. Born April 2, 1953 in Canton, Ohio to the late James and Claressa Williams. Jerry retired from the Timken Company. Preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, George and Janie Johnson and Uncle Sonny Wallace. Jerry will forever live on in the hearts of his wife of 34 years Patty Stokes Williams; daughters, Leecia (Lisa) Stokes(James Shubert), Carla (Bruce) Williams, Michelle Stokes and Jessica Johnson; sons, Darnell Stokes Williams, Derrick Williams and Robert Williams; 18 grandchildren, Fiona, Quentin, Larry, Daisha, Brayla, Daisha, Aleaka, Chamber, Stewart, Cania, Omari, Derrick Jr., Emmanuel, Zipporah, Javon, Akoria, Jazeir, Amya; step mother, Corine Chambers; brother, Robert (Brenda) Chambers; sisters, Paulette Nix, Robyn Chambers and Veronica Nix; mother in law, Shirley Johnson; brothers in law, Brian Johnson, Anthony (Angela) Reese; sisters in law, Carolyn Williams, Renee (Cam) Chappell, Charlene Gourick, Tatianna Johnson, Joyce Stokes and Umbola Griffin; special cousins, Terry Burt, Doris Frazier, Cindy Frazier, Clifford Frazier, Shirley Butler, Otis Venson, Marvel (Jeff) Pierce, Carol Hawkins; aunts & uncles, David (Violet) Cornelius, Doris Turner, Margaret Johnson, Lillie Johnson; friend, "Best friends stick together till the end, they are like a straight line that will not bend." You all have been that for Jerry and I thank you so much and will never forget your kindness and love; R.C.
