Janice L. Dawson moved to her Heavenly home on January 27, 2015. Janice was born on October 8, 1959 to the late James and Magnolia Dawson in Montclair, New Jersey. In 1963, Janice and her family moved to Canton, Ohio. After graduating from Timken High School, Janice was employed by Key Bank for over 20 years in the Loan Department.
Everyone that knew Janice knows how much she loved her Lord. And her legacy will always be that she was a prayer warrior. Every time she heard of a family member or friend being ill, she would immediately get on the phone and pray a fervent prayer for them, much to the delight of all of her loved ones. A member of True Light Christian Ministries, each Sunday Janice praise could be heard throughout the Sanctuary "What a Mighty God we serve!"
Janice was also the #1 Fan of the Cleveland Browns and could often be heard shouting, "Protect the quarterback!!!!"
Janice loved spending time with her family and friends and on August 2, 2005 her family extended with the birth of her son Stephon E. Dawson. Janice leaves to cherish her loving memory her son Stephon Dawson, sisters; Barbara Murphy, Becky Weir and Cynthia Dawson all of Canton, brother; Larry of Montclair, New Jersey, aunt Muzette Singleton of Canton, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
