Jammot L. Edwards was born August 30,1977 to Johnnie L.(Mac)  Edwards and Sandra (Faye) Edwards- Wash in Meridian, Mississippi. Jammot attended Quitman Public School and went on to obtain his GED.

Jammot was employed for Amazon and loved his job.  He could have been a recruiter for them with the passion he talked about the company with and how he would refer individuals to come and be a part of the team.

Jammot departed this life on Thursday, January 20, 2022.  His devoted dad Johnnie Edwards, grandparents Curtis and Helen Edwards, and Eddie and Bernice Chisolm. Father in Law Robert Sutton.  Aunts Gracie Fambro, Ruby Pearl Sellers, and uncles Percy Edwards, A.C. Edwards., his Brother in Law Larry Sutton and his great nephew baby Damere Johnson all preceded him in death.

Jammot accepted Christ at an early age. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed fishing, playing dominos and he loved trees, Lol.

He met Dorinda in 2002 and they went on to marry in 2018 and they lived together in Akron, Ohio where they raised their children.

He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory his loving wife Dorinda (Dee) Edwards, his devoted mother Sandra Faye Wash and mother in law Patricia Sutton, his beloved children Doriante ( Smurf), Dominique, and Max and soon to be grandchild. His brothers Tyrone (Vanessa) Edwards from Brunswick, Ohio. Christopher (LaTasha) Edwards from North Carolina, Jerome (Alisa) Edwards from Alabama, Citronelle, Kendrick Lang from Mississippi, and Deshanrick (Tara) Edwards of Stonewall, Mississippi. And Brother and Sisters in Laws    Aunts Brenda Brown, Patricia Chisolm, Regina Andrews, Linda Chisolm, Alice Edwards,  and Uncles Fred (Lawanda) Chisolm, Michael Chisolm, Eddie Chisolm Jr , Reggie Chisolm, Curtis (Rose) Edwards al from Akron, Ohionl, Allen Howze Jr.of Indianapolis. Nieces and Nephews Zabrina Johnson, Zaria Edwards, Kiara Edwards, Kris Edwards, Kayden Edwards, Aubrey Edwards and great nieces and nephews Zyaire Willis, Zaniyah Edwards, Damiyah Johnson.  A host of cousins and other relatives and many treasured friends.
