James Curtis Wimbley, 63, went home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2022. He was born May 2, 1959 and had been a life long resident of Akron, OH.

He attended Akron Public School and after graduation he joined the Military. After serving in the Army James worked many jobs including, Sagamore Hills Hospital, Gooodyear and lastly work- ing for Akron Public School. Curtis, as we all called him, loved to cook and fish as well.

He was preceded in death by his father James Calvin Wimbley, cousin Jack Sherman, and special friend Jason "Wax" Dirden.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Jennifer Wimbley of Akron, OH; sons, Shawn (Marla) McIntosh of Beachwood, OH and Calvin (Tiffany) McIntosh of Houston, TX; daughter, Shannon McIntosh of Akron, OH; mother, Sarah Williams; brother, Tony Wimbley both of Akron, OH; special friend, Zeb Moultry of Akron, OH; 8 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
