Dr. James E. Warner, 71, ascended to be with the Lord on March 16, 2013, in Canton, Ohio. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday March 22, 2013, at First Christian Church, 6900 Market Ave. North, Canton, Ohio 44721.
He was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Eddie and Rosa Warner on July 4, 1941. He married Harolyn Reta
Johnson in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University. He worked as a McDonald Douglas Aircraft in Missouri and AT & T in Manhattan, New York. He pastored Hope Inreach Mission in Canton, Ohio. He was a professor at a number of colleges including Malone University, the University of Akron and Baldwin Wallace College.
Survivors are his wife Cyria (Harolyn Reta) Warner and their three children Malai (Melvin) Evans of Canton, Ohio, Rene (Tony) Perez of Canton, Ohio and James Warner of Canton Ohio. His seven grandchildren Angel and Christian Evans, Taylor and Lauryn Warner, Aria, Angele and Alivia Perez and also one great grandchild Isabella Mayle. His brother, Eddie (Lillian) Warner of Canton, Ohio.
