James (Jimmy) Darnell Sistrunk, 81, passed away October 9, 2023.  He was born on September 11,1942 to Helen Sistrunk in Fairmont, West Virginia.

He grew up in South Akron, Ohio and retired from Chrysler Motors, in addition, he was a devoted member NA with over 30 years of sobriety.

James is preceded in death by his Aunt Ida B. Sistrunk-Frazier, Cousin Evette Lawrence of Akron, Uncles Thomas Sistrunk and John Sistrunk of Akron and Raymond Campbell of Youngstown.

He leaves to cherish his memory Aunts Louise Sistrunk of West Virginia, Berta and Delores Campbell of Baltimore, MD, Sons Derrick (Dawn) Glinn, Darwin (Kemesha) Johnson, Damon (Temika) Johnson, grandchildren Dorina and Daniela Glinn, Teaira Booker, Jacqueline Hale, Amir Johnson, Za'nyah Reid, Dier Lisman, Dezjah Smith, Ma'Kayla Johnson, Damien Johnson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
