Mr. James Hamm "Biddy" was born on July 31, 1949, in Russellville, Alabama to the late Louis Buster Hamm and Velma Hamilton Hamm. James gained his wings after a short illness.

James was a beloved father, brother, cousin, uncle and grandpa. He was an avid pool player and gambler. He loved to travel and loved the road along with his family. He made sure to be present in every holiday or family gathering. He loved his westerns and his public transportation job so much he continued to ride the bus when he was no longer a driver.

James is preceded in death by his father, Louis Buster Hamm; mother, Velma Hamilton Hamm; sister, Jalie Hamm; brother, Thomas Hamm; and one great grandchild.

He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Scherell Hargrove of Vero Beach, Florida, Micheal Folk of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Shekila (Mario) Willis of Akron, Ohio, Leandra Hamm of Phoenix, Arizonia and Denarlel Shipman of Canton, Ohio; brothers, William (Mollie) Hamilton of Russellville, Alabama, Milton Hamm of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Ronnie Hamm of Melbourne, Florida and Roger Hamm of Florence, Alabama; and to carry on his legacy, his grandchildren, Marvin and Bryan Hope, Ranesha Taylor and Sharisha Irving of Vero beach, Florida, Chyquine Folk, Ahjaney Williams, Trentan Lawson, Kash Bell of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Chrishane Hamm, Lamont Davis, Ous'Jah and My'Leah Willis of Akron, Ohio, Elijah Hamm, Rickelle, Trinity and I'Leigh Mitchell of Pheonix, Arizonia, Denarlel Shipman, Jr. Davier and Ayvon Shipman of Canton, Ohio; 18 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; special daughters, Chistine Butler and Kara Frazier; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
