James L. Billings Sr., age 76 went home to be with the Lord on April 19, 2016.  He was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama July 17, 1939.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Mae Hinds, William Mack Billings; brothers Clinton Rivers, William Jr. and Clifford Billings. He moved to Ohio and began his career at The Timken Company in 1959 and retired after 30 years of service.  He was a devoted member of St Paul A.M.E Church and the Gentleman's Club of St. Paul A.M.E.  James was also an avid sports fan. He leaves to cherish in his memory, his life partner, Patricia A. Barrino; sons, Darnell, James L. Jr.; daughters, Janice and Jennifer, all of Canton, Ohio; sisters, Cora Sue Cottrell, Clara and Barbara Billings all of Greensboro, Alabama; twelve grandchildren, which includes his heart Ashley (AJ) Edwards, of Columbus, Ohio and a host of relatives and friends.
