Obituary

Jacqueline Denise (Ruffin) Bell was born in Canton Ohio on May 21, 1960.  "Jackie", as she is known to her family and friends, attended the McKinley Senior High School (graduated in 1979). After graduation, Jackie served in the United States Army as a Specialist 4  (Unit Supply). When her service to our country ended with an honorable discharge in 1984, Jackie returned to Canton Ohio where she raised her family. Jackie married the love of her life, Arch Bell Sr., in September 1996. She was a member of Faith Family Church, and a former member of Antioch Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Jackie served in several  capacities at Faith Family such as: Prison Ministry Connect Group, HHH Connect Group, where she was the Assistant Group Leader, and a Serve Day Volunteer. Jackie was an avid sports fan who loved watching the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Guardians and Ohio State Buckeyes. She loved nature,       enjoyed bird watching, especially majestic hawks & eagles. Jackie never missed a chance to live her life to fullest. She was always up for an     adventure like zip-lining, white water rafting, casino visits and traveling to new places. Most of all, Jackie enjoyed spending time with those she loved and cared for.

Jackie went home to be with the Lord November 6th, 2022, after      succumbing to complications of stage IV Cancer. She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Donna Jean Ruffin; her father, Gary Lewis; and her son, Antony "AJ" West.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband, Arch Bell, Sr.; her sons, Jermaine (Letisia) Ruffin of Michigan, Arch Bell Jr., Anthony (Kearsi) Ruffin and Quentin Burt of Ohio; her sister, Tracey R. Ruffin of South Carolina and brother, Sheldon Todd Lewis of Michigan; her aunt, Sharon (John) Johnson; and uncle, Mark Kendra) Moore. She is the proud and loving grandmother of 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, whom she loved with every fiber of her being. Jackie also had a host of nieces and nephews who she loved and shared a special connection with. Her love and spirit will be forever missed and will live on through the love & care she planted in everyone she positively impacted.  We would like to also acknowledge her Evans siblings, extended family, friends, and Jackie's chosen family, who are too many to name, who will all miss her greatly and cherish her memory.
